As part of the realignment, all group subsidiaries Ė KraussMaffei, KraussMaffei Berstorff and Netstal Ė will in future be marketed by KraussMaffei Corporation, located in Florence, Kentucky. All activities of Netstal Machinery Inc will consequently be moved from Devens, Massachusetts to Florence. The restructuring will not result in any job losses, KM said. The US subsidiary will be managed by Paul Caprio, while Mike Sansoucy Ė who heads Netstalís activities in the US Ė will continue to be responsible for marketing Netstal machines.
The move also brings Netstalís sales in Central and Latin America under KMís roof. Hans-Ulrich Golz, president of KMís injection moulding activities, said the integration would allow the group to better and faster leverage the good growth opportunities for Netstalís product and service portfolio. To date, Netstal had not operated any Latin American subsidiary Ė its sales had been organised by a representative office. That cooperation has meanwhile been terminated.
Klaus Jell, who was appointed managing director of KMís Brazilian subsidiary in October 2011, will in future manage all KM activities in Latin America. The markets in Paraguay and Uruguay will be served from Brazil, while KraussMaffei Andina (Bogota / Colombia) will oversee marketing and sales in Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela, Central America and Guyana. Sales in Chile and Peru will be managed from the Aldo Vergara Convermaq representative office in Santiago de Chile, while all activities in Argentina will be overseen by Horge Oleskow KHS Corpoplast in Buenos Aires.
