Monte Edlund named president of Performance Products unit
Following Stu Monteith’s decision to retire on 31 August, chemicals producer Huntsman (The Woodlands, Texas / USA; www.huntsman.com) has appointed Monte Edlund as president of its Performance Products division. He will assume the post on 1 July. Edlund previously served as vice president for the Americas region of Huntsman’s Advanced Materials division.
The US group’s Performance Products unit specialises in ethylene oxide, amines, glycols, carbonates, maleic anhydride and surfactants. It has 20 global manufacturing sites and output of more than 3m t/y.
