On 31 January 2012, Hexpol (Malmö / Sweden; www.hexpol.com) announced that it had completed its acquisition of Horst Müller Kunststoffe (Lichtenfels / Germany; www.mueller-kunststoffe.com) – see also Plasteurope.com of 02.01.2012. The former thermoplastic elastomer compounds (TPE) business of Germany’s Rowa group (Pinneberg; www.rowa-gmbh.de) was consolidated in January 2012 and now constitutes a part of Hexpol’s Compounding business.
