German speciality chemical distributor Gustav Grolman (Neuss; www.grolman-group.com) has been designated as the European partner for "Phenoxy" resins from US-based InChem Corp (Rock Hill, South Carolina; www.inchemcorp.com). "We are seeking to expand our sales throughout the European Union and their vast network will be truly valuable," explained Jim Werkmeister, sales director at InChem.

Phenoxy is a resin made up of linear, long chain, high molecular-weight poly hydroxyl ethers. According to its US manufacturer, it excels in applications where flexibility, impact, toughness, strength as well as resistance to chemicals, abrasion and heat are vital. Applications in composites include laminates, prepregs sizing agents, adhesives and coatings.

Grolman also distributes some of the products from the additive portfolio of resin producer Cray Valley (Paris / France; www.crayvalley.com) in Europe.
