GABRIEL-CHEMIE
“Everyday Colour” range of masterbatches introduced / Approved for food contact
Gabriel-Chemie (Gumpoldskirchen / Austria; www.gabriel-chemie.com) has introduced 18 new colour masterbatches for use in everyday plastic objects. With a range spanning anything between “Lemon Yellow” and “Dolphin Blue”, the lead and diarylide-free “Everyday Colour” masterbatches combine high quality colouration with European Union approval for food contact applications.
Thanks to their high opacity, the masterbatch enables good colour coverage even at low dosages and can be used in both film and injection-moulding applications, Gabriel-Chemie said. The colours, which are said to be easily processable, are manufactured in the EU according to ISO 9001.
Gabriel-Chemie recently introduced a new range of 20 colour masterbatches for ABS and PLA filaments used for 3D printing – see Plasteurope.com of 26.06.2015.
