Acquisition of PetroLogistics for USD 2.1 bn completed
Refining, biofuels and chemicals company Flint Hills Resources (www.fhr.com), a subsidiary of Koch Industries (Wichita, Kansas / USA; www.kochind.com), has completed the acquisition of PetroLogistics FP (Houston, Texas / USA; www.petrologistics.com) and its general partner, PetroLogistics GP for USD 2.1 bn – see Plasteurope.com of 03.06.2014.
The acquisition was finalised through the merger of Flint Hills Resources’ subsidiary, FHR Propylene with and into PetroLogistics. Flint Hills Resources will operate PetroLogistics’ propylene facility, which is located in Houston, Texas / USA as part of its chemical and refining business.
