North American bioplastics distribution deal agreed with Clariant
German biopolymer specialist FKuR Kunststoff (Willich; www.fkur.de) has appointed Clariant Masterbatches (Muttenz / Switzerland; www.clariant.masterbatches.com) to market, sell and distribute its full line of biodegradable and biobased products in North America, including “Bio-Flex”, “Biograde”, “Fibrolon”, “Terralene” and “Terramid”. The agreement starts with immediate effect.
Carmen Michels, president of FKuR Plastics Corp, said the distribution deal is a logical step for FKuR’s growth in North America. “With Clariant Masterbatches, we have expanded our ability to service customers’ needs within USA and Canada,” she said.
