German plastics fair sees record number of visitors / Rising internationality
The 23rd “Fakuma” (www.fakuma-messe.de) industry fair, held from 14-18 October in Friedrichshafen / Germany, drew a record number of 45,689 visitors from 117 countries as well as 1,772 exhibitors from 36 nations, reports organiser P.E. Schall(Frickenhausen / Germany; www.schall-messen.de). The share of international visitors rose from 31% during the last edition to 33% this year, illustrating the fact that the event has established itself as a key fair in the international sphere.

For several years already, the 12 halls of the Friedrichshafen fairgrounds have been fully booked for Fakuma. At this year’s edition, exhibitors also took up space in the entrance halls. Next year’s Fakuma will be held from 13-17 October at the same location.
