Upcoming MedPharmPlast Europe conference to take place in Frankfurt / Updates on EU regulatory developments for plastic medical devices and the pharmaceutical packaging industry
MedPharmPlast Europe (www.medpharmplasteurope.org), a sector group of European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticsconverters.eu), is hosting a conference in Frankfurt / Germany on 23 June to provide updates on EU regulatory developments for plastic medical devices and the pharmaceutical packaging industry.
A number of high-profile speakers from both companies and associations will be presenting the event’s three sessions, with topics covered including an update on the sector group’s regulatory task force as well as EU medical devices legislations, ways in which MedPharmPlast Europe can influence EU decision-making, nanomaterials, endocrine disruptors, extractables and leachables as well as unannounced audits.
MedPharmPlast Europe first began operations in 2014 (see Plasteurope.com of 19.12.2013). The sector group’s tasks include keeping companies informed about the latest developments in European regulations and their impact on the medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging plastics chains, as well as representing the industry’s interests to legislators.
