Chicago to host “Plastic pipes XVII” conference in 2014
The next “Plastic pipes XVII” (www.ppxvi.org) conference will take place in Chicago, Illinois / USA on 23-25 September 2014. The organising committee said the previous conference "Plastic pipes XVI", which took place in Barcelona / Spain last month (see Plasteurope.com of 21.06.2011), attracted nearly 500 participants and 33 exhibitors from 47 countries, with presentations covering areas such as pipe system developments and sustainability.
Two affiliated conferences will also take place in Moscow / Russia on 3-4 October 2013 and in China in November 2013. Zoran Davidovski, committee chairman, said Russia and China were selected for the regional plastic pipe conferences because of the rapid development of plastic pipe technology in those markets.
