“IdentiPlast 2012” held in Warsaw in November / Focus on zero plastics to landfill
On 6 and 7 November 2012, the 10th edition of “IdentiPlast”, Europe’s leading plastics waste management event, will be held in Warsaw / Poland. Organised by PlasticsEurope (Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticseurope.com), the two-day event is held under the theme “Zero plastics to landfill by 2020 – how to reach the goal”.
A number of high-ranking speakers will share their views on the subject, including – among others – the European Commission’s Helmut Maurer, Ryszard Wojcik of the Polish Recovery Organisation as well as Alexander Janz from the German Environment Ministry. Company speakers include Carl Van Camp, head of Total’s Polymers division as well as Veolia’s Keith Riley.
While the first day of the event will focus on European waste legislation, on day two the discussion will centre on how technology and science can support the goal of zero plastics to landfill. Aside from the speeches, the event also includes discussion panels as well as a separate exhibition.
