Italian calender manufacturer opens new production hall and R&D centre
On 26 September, Italian calender producer Comerio Ercole (Busto Arsizio; www.comercole.it) officially opened its new production hall and R&D centre at group headquarters. The company invested EUR 3m in the 3,000 m² site, and plans to spend an additional EUR 2m on new machinery by the end of this year.
According to local media reports, the specialist for blenders and calenders used in rubber and PVC processing is expected to post sales of EUR 68m this year. Comerio Ercole generates about three-fourths of its revenues from exports.
