Follow-up: Acquisition of Speciality Polymers Antwerp complete
Three weeks after signing the agreement to acquire DuPont Holding Netherlands’ majority share in their Speciality Polymers Antwerp joint venture – see Plasteurope.com of 11.08.2014 – Borealis (Vienna / Austria; www.borealisgroup.com) announced that the purchase has been completed. Under the new arrangement, Borealis will supply DuPont with EVA and acrylate polymers from the Speciality Polymers Antwerp facility.
Borealis said it plans to fully integrate the site into its overall organisation.
