Canadian recycler Lavergne (Montreal, Quebec; www.lavergne.ca) has appointed Bieglo (Hamburg / Germany; www.bieglo.com) as the European distributor of its recycling compounds. The German company reports positive responses from the country’s automotive sector. For now, the agreement covers the marketing of “Vypet” polyester recompounds used among others for front end modules, ignition coils, sun roof systems, lamp housings, grill opening retainers and seat modules. Bieglo will also be distributing “Vyteen” PC/ABS recompounds, used in air venting systems, glove compartments and steering wheel covers. Lavergne’s product portfolio will be presented at its common booth with Bieglo at this year’s “Fakuma” trade fair (www.fakuma-messe.de), held in Friedrichshafen / Germany from 14-18 October.

Aside from its main plant in Montreal / Canada, Lavergne also operates compounding lines in Quang Nam / Vietnam. The company does not provide exact nameplate capacities.
