Gerold Schley appointed CEO and president

Come 1 January 2015, Austrian extrusion technology company battenfeld-cincinnati (Vienna; www.battenfeld-cincinnati.com) will have a new man at its helm. The company announced that Gerold Schley will take over as president and CEO in the new year, replacing CFO Michael von Cappeln, who acted as interim chief executive following the resignation of Jürgen Arnold.
Schley previously worked as managing director of Ferromatik Milacron Maschinenbau (Malterdingen / Germany; www.ferromatik.com), and also oversaw the China operations and global sourcing of parent company Milacron (Batavia, Ohio / USA; www.milacron.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 19.01.2010. Following his departure, the German subsidiary of the plastics machinery maker will be headed by Denis Poelman.
