CEO Paul Carrico suddenly retires / Timothy Mann appointed interim chief executive
Paul Carrico, president, CEO and board member of US vinyls producer Axiall (Atlanta, Georgia; www.axiall.com), has retired. The sudden announcement is followed by an active search for a new CEO. Until a suitable candidate is found, vice president of strategy, general counsel and secretary Timothy Mann will be interim president and CEO.
Mann was part of the team that designed and negotiated Axiall’s recently announced ethane cracker joint venture with Lotte Chemical (see Plasteurope.com of 17.02.2014).
