Russel Livesey named chairman of BPF's Masterbatch & Technical Compounds Group
The British Plastics Federation’s (BPF, London / UK; www.bpf.co.uk) Masterbatch & Technical Compounds Group has a new chairman. Following the retirement of Gabriel-Chemie’s (Gumpoldskirchen / Austria; www.gabriel-chemie.com) Greg Hammond, the 15-member strong group is now headed by Russel Livesey, managing director of Colloids (Merseyside / UK; www.colloids.co.uk).
Key tasks of the group include responding to rising international competition, managing the costs and pressures associated with REACH, and exploiting opportunities to promote masterbatch exports, among others.
