Partnership with Russian distributor Composite Trade
Unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins specialist Ashland Performance Materials, part of Ashland (Covington, Kentucky / USA; www.ashland.com), is increasing its presence in Russia through the formation of a partnership with distributor Composite Trade (Saint Petersburg / Russia; www.composite.ru/en).
The new alliance, Ashland Rus, will seek to meet the country’s growing demand for composite resins targeting mostly sales to direct large-scale buyers. The partnership creates a local platform to make Ashland’s technology more easily accessible and adds to Composite Trade’s current distribution model, which will remain unchanged, the companies said.
