Effective immediately, Gangus Plastic Vertriebsgesellschaft (Salzburg / Austria), an affiliate of German compounder and distributor Albis Plastic (Hamburg; www.albis.com), will operate under the new name Albis Plastic Vertriebsgesellschaft. The name change underlines the two companies’ association, Albis said, adding that it also underscores the link to parent company Otto Krahn (Hamburg / Germany; www.krahn.de).

Commenting on the name change, Albis Plastic Vertriebsgesellschaft managing director Bernd Ziethen said, “Beginning immediately Albis Plastic will also be represented homogeneously under one company name in Austria as well as the associated sales regions.” He added that as the group raises its activities in south-eastern Europe, it continues to develop and optimise its regional availability and customer service.

Albis distributes TPU, TPE, masterbatches and technical compounds across south-eastern Europe – both its own products as well as materials produced by BASF and Bayer, among others.
