German thermoplastics distributor and compounder Albis Plastic (Hamburg; www.albis.com) has developed a range of compounds with electromagnetic compatibility and shielding (EMC/EMI) for use in the electro-mobility and electrical & electronics sectors.
The “Alcom EC EMI” compounds block electromagnetic waves through reflection and absorption to ensure that electronic systems in electromagnetic surrounds can function properly. Ideal applications are in electric motors, computers, communications and sensor technology.
