ALBIS PLASTIC
Exclusive distributor for Eastman copolyester range in the Maghreb countries
Albis Plastic (Hamburg / Germany; www.albis.com) on 1 January 2015 became the exclusive distributor of Eastman Chemical’s (Kingsport, Tennessee / USA; www.eastman.com) copolyester range in Morocco, Algeria and Tunis. The deal includes the US group’s “Durastar”, “Eastalloy”, “Eastar”, “Aspira”, “Tritan” and “Provista” product portfolios. All regional business and technical support will be handled by Albis Plastic Tunisia.

The German distributor said the agreement will help meet increasing demand for plastics in the Maghreb region, where a rising number of international companies are starting to set up shop. Albis began distributing Eastman’s copolyesters in Turkey in October last year – see Plasteurope.com of 06.10.2014.
